I know what the secret of life is!

Easier said than done though.

I’m sure you’ve heard it before: Live in the NOW. That is it. We have learned that things that get more attention, like cars, furniture, flowers, seem to last longer. Our friends Mike & Susan have conducted tests, where they took leaves, put one away somewhere, and had one under their constant attention (not physical care, but prayer and focus) and that one lasted longer. I think they said it was still alive. I have noticed this phenomenon myself. Anyway when that was confirmed with me, I was curious, I wondered how that would apply to everything else we’ve learned about attention and time.

I’ve been reading this awesome book, “The Tao of Now” by Josh Baran. You should definitely check this book out. It is helping me to learn how to live in the Now. It’s not that easy, but when it can be achieved, it is joyful. You can always tell you are not in the now if you’re overwhelmed. People who have grudges (even riteous ones) have terrible health problems. That’s because they dwell in the past. A place that doesn’t exist. That’s right it doesn’t. The future doesn’t either. It’s your imagination of what you think the next now will be.

So anyway I think that the reason people age is because it’s nearly impossible to spend 100% of the time in the now, but if you practice, you would live a lot longer. You know why we can never be exactly in the now? Our minds are only remembering what now is. What I mean is (something we’ve learned through remote viewing) reality is just lots and lots of sensory input. Our mind puts it all together and makes an image that we can understand. It also discards a large percentage of the reality around us.

This whole metaphysics thing has bothered us, because it means it’s a reality “separate” from us. What is really happening, is that WE are separate from reality. Everything is just one whole universe, and we take in what we can of it with our human brain and make up something we can all agree on. So, God and everything is all right around us, most of us are just not tuned in. It’s in the Bible, Jesus said “You search for God through heaven and earth, but you don’t know the one who is right before your eyes, because you don’t know to search into this very moment.”

Well that’s all I can say for now, thanks for listening! Please leave a comment or two!

My Angel Kitty

March 19, 2009 on 5:05 pm | In At Home, Spiritual Experiences | 2 Comments

Angel KittyI had a cat for almost 9 years. Her name was Daisy, but I always just called her Kitty. She died a couple days ago. Please don’t send condolances, that’s too depressing. I was shocked and upset when it happened, but I’d rather be cheerful now. I said before, that I believe there is an animal heaven (one of Melvin’s young patients who nearly died said he saw animal heaven before he went to the people heaven. Also there are many of us who have had experiences involving animals, and/or have animal spirits who help us.). I believe my kitty is still with me. We buried her in our yard, next to another kitty who we didn’t know but it died right in front of me of some unknown thing, last year. It’s interesting, both the unknown cat and my kitty looked alike, black & white, except mine had long hair and it had short hair. I know they did not die of the same thing, even though I’m not sure what. The first one I think had a parasite. It was just skin and bones and we always fed our kitty outside so I know there was food. Then our kitty was not thin, I think she may have been hit by a car. She was all in one piece, but she had a little blood on her mouth and her paw. My husband is so sweet, he tried to tell me it was old age. She showed no sign of aging, she was still just as healthy as she was when she was 2.

Anyway what I’m getting at, is I believe actually both cats are still here, and now are more in my life than they were before. Cats are very special, and I think there is a legend that they chase evil spirits away. That could very well be true for us.

Now, here’s the twist. I have this Angel Kitty cameo necklace. It’s a real cameo, so it is still like new and I know it will last a long time, in fact I have already decided Melody will inherit it whenever I die. I have had this necklace for a long time, long before any cats died in my life. Except for a little black cat I had a really really long time ago, and I only had it for a couple years. Melvin got the necklace for me back before we got married. For the last couple years I have never taken it off, originally because I almost lost it and I feared I would lose it again. Now I just feel like it’s a part of me. It has grown more and more symbollic of spiritual things. I will try to upload a picture.

So the moral of this story is, there is an animal heaven, there are animal spirits who help us just as much as spirits of other forms. I loved my kitty and I know she loved me. I am sad that she won’t be following me to the mailbox or watching Anna get on the school bus anymore, but I am glad now she can be in the house and protect us. (Melvin is allergic to cats and has athsma)

One more thing, my next goal is to find a hypoallergenic cat. I know there are some that cost almost as much as a car. I’ll have to save up, but I’m not in a hurry to get another cat just yet.

Spirit of Confusion

March 14, 2009 on 1:57 pm | In Life Stories, Spiritual Experiences | No Comments

I haven’t written in a long time (and still no comments!) but now I have something to talk about. May God keep this away with love, but there is an evil spirit of misunderstandings out there, that doesn’t like good things to happen. I believe our mission is an important one, and God’s will. But have you noticed sometimes you might feel like you’re going crazy because you hear the opposite of what someone was supposed to have said? Or even better, have you ever had someone get the total wrong impression of you, and it seems that everything you do somehow fits the wrong impression? Well we have had that happen to us. Between Melvin and I, and with other people. It’s crazy and sometimes painful. When it happened to Melvin and I, we seemed so easilly offended by things we (mistakenly) heard from eachother. Not only did we hear or say the wrong things, but we were so oversensitive! Normally we are like a unit, we communicate non-verbally a lot, and we are always in tune with eachother. Even when we first met, people could see our moves were coordinated even when we didn’t know it. Fortunately we are stronger because of what happened to us. And we are stronger still everytime it happens. As I once heard Joyce Meyer say, “the Devil likes division.” We need to be unified.
Well that’s all for now, I’d love to see some more comments. Let’s all achieve more unity with love and communication. Not just us and the website, but you with eachother. Keep up all the loving work you do.
Remember, keep love in your heart when you hear something that may at first offend you. You might have heard wrong! Forgive! It is a myth that it always happens again. That only happens in abusive situations. It doesn’t take just one misunderstanding to think you are in an abusive situation. You know because of a lot of other things. So my point is, don’t burn the bridge over a misunderstanding. Oh and one more thing. This is something I learned while in Colorado. All anger, hate, and other negative behaviors stem from fear. If you remember that, it’s easier to understand people and have compassion for them. Because whether they know it or not, if you send loving thoughts to them it helps them! That is how you pray for someone less than pleasant to be around.

Back from Boulder

February 26, 2009 on 6:31 am | In Lectures and Workshops | No Comments

We are back from Boulder, and it truly was a success. We met a great couple I’d like to say are our new friends. They will most likely be part of taking us to a new level. That’s what Melvin says. I just say they are really cool, and full of great ideas! So, we did the remote viewing demonstration, and of course totally missed the target. But we had the signal. It was a stealth bomber and it was getting fuel in the air. I think Melvin ended up inside the line, or hose, the thing the fuel travelled through. Anyway I think they all left with new tools, and we learned some new things too. This couple, Mike and Susan, are already advanced remote viewers. Mike had some great suggestions for us. Like, I could have moved him outside the line. That was one of those forehead smacking moments, but I didn’t smack my forehead. It was more like OH! I am still learning through practice how to see what he’s seeing. I’ve decided to start trying to remote view for myself. I’ve never done it before, I’ve only been the monitor. There is a website that has practice targets just for the idiogram (the first step), I’m going to do that first. I just realized, that’s the same as what Mike was doing. He was helping to teach them by putting an item in a box, like a gyroscope or a roll of white out tape, and then have them draw it. It’s more immediately rewarding. And they ALL got those. So, I think it was all a good outcome, thanks to Mike, who ensured they all got something out of it. While our flight there was terrible, our flight home was so nice it made up for the terrible flight there. It wasn’t the airline’s fault. We overslept and had to rush and not eat, we were unprepared, although we were packed just fine. We didn’t think about the plane charging for food. So we only had a fruit cup the whole day until we got there. We also ended up in seats that didn’t recline, and it was very windy that day both in Philly and in Boulder. So the turbulence was the worst I’d ever experienced. OK so the way home was so much better. Not so windy, hardly any turbulance. We brought lots of snacks, and we were at the airport an hour early so we had time to relax before getting on the plane. And to top it all off a nice flight attendant gave the girls free movies. So they were little angels and we grown ups got to take it easy. When we got to boulder I slept for something like 24 hours. When we got home, I changed the bedding and did a load of laundry before going to bed. That’s how much better the trip home was. I, as usual, invite your comments, especially our Dr. Morse. There’s a lot of really cool stuff we learned, but I haven’t digested it all yet. I’ll bet Melvin has more to say about it.

A Bright Future for Our World

February 20, 2009 on 1:06 am | In Astronomy and Spirituality, Consciousness and Physics, My crazy ideas, Spiritual Experiences | 1 Comment

I have been thinking about a lot of things, and they all have one thing in common: I love what the future of the world looks like to me! First of all, what about this global warming? No one has looked at the possibility that it could be a good thing!! I have a feeling that all the storms and crazy weather have to do with the actual change, not the way the climate will be when it stabilizes. And I think it will stabilize. We have been focusing on how wet places will become dry and desert like, but there will be dry deserts that will become wetlands! I’ve also read that there is a place in Africa that is going to eventually become a new sea. So really things are just changing around. It will be warmer in general, but right now there is a part of the world that is too cold for us to live comfortably. Instead there will be room for a different part of the world to be too hot to live comfortably, and the part that was too cold, will be comfortable. What’s wrong with that? True, lots of people will have to move. Well that comes down to money matters. We are already learning how to manage our lives in financial crisis, I hope that the predictions are true that we will someday not need money. I think we can all agree that there are a lot of changes happening! And now I want to talk about the changes that are less visible. Another way that I think the general public has it all wrong. We imagine that aliens from another world would be ugly, green, and cold and heartless, and they will come in a flying saucer or some kind of space ship. I say quite contrary! They are already among us, in 100% human flesh and blood. They have come in spirit to be born as human. They have come with love to usher our world to a new level of spiritual awareness. You know that’s what it’s all about, spiritual growth, and knowledge. That is what will lead us to a world of peace. These are a special people, you may or may not have noticed. They are most attractive, gifted, and loving. They are artists, or have some extrordinary talent that is used specifically to better mankind. I could name the ones I recognize. They are what I’ve heard spiritists call Crystal Children. Many are grown now. Some are just babies. But this is the time they come to save our world. They are from a more spiritually advanced world, and you will notice sometimes the only thing they have trouble with is language. Understandable enough, considering the languages of our world may not be complex enough. Or probably they are used to communicating without speech at all! I am sure that to some I may come across as crazy (as usual), but I hope the rest of you will understand exactly what I’m talking about. I know one of these Crystal children have already contacted me in the comments! (and I invite you to write again!) So all in all, I just have the most wonderful image in my mind of our future. I am excited and hope I will still be around to experience it!

Getting ready for Boulder

February 20, 2009 on 12:33 am | In Consciousness and Physics, Lectures and Workshops | 1 Comment

We are going to Boulder, CO this weekend to give a lecture and workshop with the Caritas Spiritist Center (caritasspiritistcenter.org). They say they’ve never seen a workshop like the one we will be giving. This time I’m actually going to be part of it! We will be teaching people the basic protocol for Controlled Remote Viewing, and using this protocol in other parts of our lives. What I’ll be doing specifically is monitoring an RV session with Melvin as we always do, but this time it will be in front of everyone. I’m a little nervous that’s true, but I still think we can do it. What really matters is that they see how we do it, not if we get the target or not. It’s easy to understand if we don’t get the target in that setting. Anyway I’m mostly nervous about being part of a workshop! We are leaving tomorrow morning, Friday the 20th and coming back Monday. Wish us luck!

Odd Saturn

February 4, 2009 on 4:18 am | In My crazy ideas | No Comments

I have once pondered the possibility of life on Saturn. Sounds impossible on the surface, but you never know. I was reading the March 2009 issue of Astronomy Magazine, and there is an article in the Astro news (pg 20) called “Saturn shows off odd aurora.” I’ll tell you about that in a minute. Not too long ago they discovered a hexagon shape on the north pole of saturn. I think the same shape of a bee hive. That can’t be natural. But they claim it is. Anyway, now there is an “odd aurora” there, virtually following the hexagon shape. They say it glows in infrared light and has no known counterpart in the solar system. It’s not just a ring like on Earth or Jupiter, this one covers a very large area across the pole. Earth’s aurorae have something to do with the solar wind and the magnetic field. Jupiter produces them from charged particles trapped in their magnetospheres. They say this one on Saturn doesn’t fit either category. The glow sometimes fills the pole from 82 degrees latitude up, but the infrared glow changes constantly and sometimes disappears alltogether. They say theories on what causes Saturn’s aurora predict this region should be empty.

Just before I read this article, I read Bob Berman’s Strange Universe, my favorite column. This month’s title is “Alien Winds.” He mentions what Venus is like. The south pole has a circular vortex, a permanent hurricane with absolute calm in the middle.

I naturally put those two together and it supports my previous theory that the north pole of Saturn is calm. Maybe even lower pressure too. I don’t know about the super fast spinning though. I’m sure life would adapt to crazy conditions like that, like they can in those hydrothermal vents under the sea. Maybe the stars above would turn like the second hand on a clock, that could serve as a natural clock. Who knows? I just find Saturn very intriguing. It is one of the few heavenly bodies I have actually seen through a telescope myself. I’ve seen Jupiter and it’s moons, and even some detail of Jupiter itself. I have a small telescope, but I hope to someday acquire some property in a nice open dark area and build an observatory.

I am very facinated with Astronomy!

Things That Don’t Make Sense

January 25, 2009 on 8:21 am | In Astronomy and Spirituality, My crazy ideas | 3 Comments

I am reading a cool book by Michael Brooks, called “13 things That Don’t Make Sense.” On the cover is that wierd optical illusion that is a 3D triangle with backwards angles that make it look like it’s sort of twisted in on itself. Anyway, the book is NOT about optical illusions. It’s “The Most Baffling Scientific Mysteries of Our Time.” I, of course can’t read these types of books cover to cover, I have to jump around and read the most interesting chapters first, then read the rest. The first chapter I read is chapter 2, The Pioneer Anomoly. The Pioneer 10 and 11 space probes are threatening the laws of physics, because they are drifting off course. A tiny ammount, but enough to make the calculations incorrect. They have dug up all the information they can find and went through all the calculations and can’t find any mistakes.

I think it’s dark matter. I will be talking more about dark matter in the near future. I have some things to write about that are still incubating.

So the next chapter I read was chapter 6, Viking. NASA scientists found evidence for life on Mars. Then they changed their minds. A guy named Gilbert Levin figured out a new way to detect the presence of microorganisms by using something radioactive, and they measure the radioactive emissions, and there’s a whole procedure they do that seemed pretty fool proof to me. Anyway they used this technique on the Viking. It had 4 runs, but it seems 3 malfunctioned. One came back positive. Even Carl Segan was congratulating the guy, but then later apologized and took it back. The thing that makes the least sense to me is, whatever the end result was, after Viking, the Biologists all left the field, and were replaced by geologists and atmospheric scientists. I would think they would be trying again to find life! But they haven’t since. My husband also reminded me about the face on Mars that was all over the news and then dismissed. There is obviously something they’re not telling us.

So anyway the next chapter I’ll be reading is something about the “WOW!” Signal from space.

Here’s my own opinions and beliefs. I think there was life on Mars maybe until the time of the Dinosaurs or right around their extinction. Who knows maybe whatever changed on Earth that killed the Dinos, also changed Mars and made it uninhabitable. Or at least started a change that eventually made it uninhabitable. There is also a nearby star, I wish I could remember its name, but Spiritists believe it is a solar system linked to ours. And every so many years there is some kind of connection and that’s where the Indigo children come from. Anyway, I just have this belief that the Ancient Egyptians (when they built the Pyramids) still had the knowledge in their heritage. We know they had this ritual they had in the death of a king. If I remember right they prepared him and buried him alive. But anyway there is a tiny path through the Great Pyramid that goes from the tomb to the outside and points to the stars. It’s as if they are sending their spirits to this more advanced spiritual place. In an unrelated book I read years and years ago someone said the pyramids are mirroring some constellation. I wonder if that’s the constellation of the star the Indigo children come from. Well I guess I better do my homework on that subject. It’s getting a little outlandish sounding. What it has to do with Mars is maybe that’s where we (or some part of our heritage) came from. I understand the whole evolution idea, but I also understand there is a certain jump in our evolution that isn’t accounted for. There is something in the bible that says that when Noah and his family reached land and started to re-establish, the “Sons of God fell in love with the daughters of man” or I’ve also heard it as “the Angels fell in love with humans” Anyway, maybe in reality it was a more evolved civilization. Otherwise, I imagine how difficult it would have been to repopulate the world with just the one family. (by the way, I think experts say there really was a great flood, but they still don’t know what caused it)

Well, I am willing to bet that there will be some of you who will say “Right on!”, and some of you will say “What are you on?” That’s okay with me. All I’m doing is speaking my mind. Hey maybe someday someone will discover just the things I was speculating. Then I can say “Ah-hah! I knew it!”

One last thought. My husband is reading a book about Indigo and Crystal children. It says they came from a more advanced civilization but were sent here because they were rebels, and they are unhappy to be here, because they feel it is a downgrade. Crystal Children are from “another dimension” and are here to help us with the Indigo children.

Well I was suddenly thinking maybe it has to do with these Egyptians. Maybe they had learned a secret way to get to that place before their time, and therefore were not advanced enough to fit there, and became rebels. And maybe those spirits are being sent back.

Hey someone who commented (forgive me I can’t remember your name just now) didn’t you say you came here because of the way the stars lined up? I believe it, after learning more about Indigo and Crystal children. I am now so intrigued by this whole subject, or subjects that could be linked to eachother.

I invite your comments, especially you, Dr. Morse. (as you might have noticed, he usually fills in the blanks for me, with facts in the comments)

I have an important story to tell

January 18, 2009 on 4:59 pm | In Life Stories | 7 Comments

I’ve been thinking a lot about this and I’ve decided I need to write and share this with you. Melvin sometimes likes to mention that we met 15 years ago when he resuscitated my baby. This was actually 17 years ago, we lost track but I counted. I was only 19 then, and made a lot of mistakes, like meeting the worst possible boyfriend anyone could ever have the misfortune of meeting (not Melvin! We didn’t meet again until 13 years later). I will not tell the details of my relationship with this boyfriend, but he did a lot of stupid things that made a lot of people angry. He used to forever bug my mom and try to find me, but one day he stopped and I never heard from or about him again. I automatically thought someone got mad enough… Well anyway, I got pregnant, and the baby was born 6 weeks premature. Melvin was the one who came to take care of him. I was fortunate enough to know a family who took us in and took very good care of the baby. I don’t remember their names, it was 17 years ago. I remember the mother had a very sweet child like voice, and the father had a prosthetic leg. I named my son Anthony Lee Allen Jacobson.

Unfortunately for me, but I suppose fortunately for my son, they disappeared with him. But it seems that Child Protective Services approved of it. You know, they came to check on us, and of course that terrible boyfriend of mine just threatened and chased the investigator away!

I am sad to say I never saw my son again, and I even lost the one picture I had of him. When he was 6 I heard that they moved to Canada and wanted to start him in school but they didn’t have a birth certificate so the Royal Canadian Mounted Police contacted me. I told them that I don’t want to take him away from them, I just want to be sure they are taking good care of him.

I think usually an adopted son will look for his birth parents at about age 17. I was hoping he would be looking for me, so I’m putting a message out there. I’d like to think he’s getting ready for college or something. I want him to know there is a very stark difference between my life then and my life now.

This is a very daring thing I’m doing, writing something about myself revealing I wasn’t some perfect kid. And this doesn’t have anything to do with science, but maybe spiritual. It is interesting how I had a chance meeting with my soulmate and didn’t know it. And we were trying to make it work with the very opposite, if there is such a thing as the opposite of a soulmate.

Dr. Morse’s True Inspiration

January 16, 2009 on 1:09 pm | In Dr. Morse's Practice | No Comments

Melvin and I are very excited to share with you, he is working again as a pediatrician in our community. He is working with Dr. Lowell Scott in Milton. The exciting thing about this is that Melvin loves to work with children. They are his inspiration! It’s true, it has not just been only when they told him their near death experiences, back when he was an emergency doc, but also in everyday life. Sometimes teen issues, or maybe a family adopting a handicapped child. Autism is another interest of his. I think there is a spiritual element to it. I will write more soon!
