I must be one of the most fortunate men alive! Married to the amazing Pauline, the great job of being a Pediatrician, and most importantly, privileged to have had so many children tell me about the experiences they had when they almost died.
I am a Johns Hopkins trained Pediatrician and Neuroscientist. I have no particular spiritual beliefs, other than the ones I learned from children I resuscitated from nearly dying. I don't consider myself to be anything special, I was just in the right place at the right time. I often hear my fellow Physicians say that they have never heard a near death experience. I would have been just like them, had I not been fortunate enough to LISTEN, when one of my young patients told me about "seeing me put a tube in her nose" and visiting "heaven".
As a result of listening to these children and doing my best to understand what they are saying, I have traveled the world and met many many amazing people from all walks of life. I have learned so much not only from the children, but from each person featured in this photo gallery. I want to share these experiences with you.
